195 Squat. Most since my back surgery.

Ever since my back surgery, I’ve been terrified of back squats and deadlifts.

Which sucks, because squats and deadlifts are the most fun lifts.

Over the last year, I’ve been very very slowly working my way back up to it. Jules has helped me so much by helping me stay patient and giving myself the time to work up very slowly. She’s the best.

Today, I squatted 195.

This may not seem like a lot to you, but after my surgery I never thought I would be able to lift heavy weights again.

I’m really proud.

Obviously, I have a lot more in me, but I will continue to take it slow.
